Ann Covel received a BFA from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, summa cum laude. She additionally has education and experiences in healthcare and special education.
When creating her personally inspired pieces, she enjoys mostly working with oils but also can be found utilizing acrylics, digital, pastels, and watercolor. Mixing these is also an immense joy and she is not afraid to experiment. Places, people, animals, and all their infinite connections provide her with endless inspiration.
This Gen-X artist has additionally fueled her broad visual framework with living and creating in large cities, small towns, and tucked away in the woods. Her ideas are stimulated by the environment around her. So, when not creating, she is finding inspiration while hiking, gardening, reading, animal observing, and people watching. Her camera and sketch pad are always at the ready!
